Things to do in Nha Trang

Nha Trang is the main beach resort of Vietnam's south-central coast, and it is worth visiting for the sea rather than for culture: an urban beach, boat trips to the islands, diving and a busy nightlife strip. Allow two to three days, three if you want a full day on the water.

The one heritage stop is the Cham towers of Po Nagar, a short taxi ride from the centre; the entrance fee is only a few euros. Note that Cam Ranh airport (CXR) is not in the city but a transfer away, so budget for a taxi or shuttle (roughly 10 to 25 EUR depending on the vehicle, in 2026), or take the Reunification Express along the coast.

The weather does not follow Hoi An or Hue: the rains arrive later here, roughly October to December, so plan the trip around that.
